Commonwealths of kindred spirits
In a world where ethnic ties seem to be under strong suppression, tribes may form on the basis of intelectual and spiritual kinship...
Birds of a feather flock together. This old maxim explains the phenomenon of in-group preference and pretty much justifies blood-and-soil nationalism. There’s no countering biology and, no matter how much we try to delude ourselves with societal, ideological and philosophical constructs, nature always prevails.
However, I can’t help but notice that, in this day and age, many people, particularly those of European descent, would rather side with other groups than side with their own group, mostly for the sake of social approval. I sometimes see situations where people from the outside care more about the preservation of a certain culture and identity than the actual natives. This, of course, is by design. Such self loathing and ethnomasochism has been engineered into the minds of people for the last several decades. Perhaps even centuries.
That said, and if we also take into account the current astrological paradigm, e might need to reassess our concept of tribalism. We are at the age of air. The great conjunction of 2020 right at the start of Aquarius, Pluto moving into Aquarius and Uranus about to move into Gemini is a sure sign that matter, while still being relevant, might take a bit of a back seat and that humanity as whole will shift more into the realm of ideas and abstraction…
I don’t want to sound like Barbara spectre but chances are we might no longer see - or at least, not anytime soon - the same ethnically homogeneous and monocultural societies and social networks (not as in the internet social networks but as actual groups of actual people) that we were used to see. The powers that be have been hard at work to ensure that is - and will be - the case. At least for the foreseeable future.
So, rather than trying to forcefully with one’s co-ethnics who not only have no ideological affinity, but might also become openly hostile, we might look for people to associate with more based on their philosophical and ideological orientations and outlook on life.
Does this make sense? Or have I been duped int accepting DIEversity as a strength? let me know if you disagree. But if you do so, be civil and provide soem proper counter-argument rather than resorting to trivial ad hominem attacks or counter-signalling.
If you made it this far, thank you for bearing with me and reading my nonsense.
